On the 22nd of June 28 members of the Pagoda youth Orchestra, alongside over 20 volunteers from the Pagoda Tai Chi group and Centre, descended upon Williamson Square providing an afternoon of percussion, tai chi and ribbon dancing for the public.

Asked by the Liverpool Lions Club to raise money for the ‘City of Liverpool Appeal’ in just under two hours the volunteers; drummed, danced and gave their all to the public, managing to raise an amazing £250!

All money raised will be going to St Vincent’s School for the Blind in West Derby, helping them afford a new people carrier.

A big thank you to; all the children of the PCYO, the Pagoda Tai Chi group, Liverpool Lions Club and all parents/volunteers involved.
