  • After the 2 days celebration, everyone will get a rest on the third day.

 

  • The third day is also known as ‘The God of Blazing Wrath Day’, people consider that its unlucky to visit others or have a guest in the house.

  • There is ancient folklore about the third day being ‘Rat’s Marriage Day’, people will put rice, cakes and peanuts on the floor for rats and go to bed early, to make space for the rats and their wedding. This custom began in ancient times as rats often bring disaster and disease to people. therefore, wanting to build a harmonious relationship with the rats, people would leave these offerings out in exchange for a peaceful year.
