I was talking to Margaret, (who had been working with the Pagoda Chinese Community Centre for years, and now volunteering with translations.), that the Pagoda Chinese Youth Orchestra is going to celebrate their 30 years anniversary next year, she said it is the centre’s 30 years this year.
What a year for the Pagoda Centre! Would like to thanks to all the volunteers again for keeping the centre going this year. (and the LYS and City Council). Last Year this month, we were told that all the staffs from Pagoda were not working in the centre any more, and Pagoda Arts temporarily looking after the centre with all the volunteers. One year on, the centre is still going, and all the activities are continuing.
Lets all keep the centre going for generations to come.
