This series of ‘Our Corner’ exhibition is going back to the Chinese New Year theme. Sophie Green illustrated 3 lovely paintings of the ‘Three Star’ Chinese deities – three most important deities in the Chinese customs. They represent ‘Fortune, Descendants, and Longevity’, all that is good and desirable in the forthcoming year. As this is the year of the Horse, Sophie has dedicated her paintings to the horse. (See if you can spot the unison of the three paintings.)
There will be stories and explanation about the Fu
Star, Lu Star and Shou Star. Also traditional paper
cutting based on the Three Immortals.
